Plan 9 from Outer Space

The movie industry truly has advanced with new technology, especially when it comes to making the special effects life-like. However, movie-goers in the late 50s did not have that privilege. Instead, they witnessed movies such as Plan 9 from Outer Space with all of its ‘imperfect’ moments.

This flick is known for being one of the worst films in the history of cinema. Yes, you read that right. Popular film review aggregator, Rotten Tomatoes, gave the film a slightly positive rating at 66%. Their claim is that “Plan 9 from Outer Space is an unintentionally hilarious sci-fi ‘thriller’ from anti-genius Ed Wood that is justly celebrated for its staggering ineptitude.”
