1.       Have you always been a performer?

No, mostly I'm a writer. I started my career in journalism, writing for daily newspapers and magazines, including a few years at Newsweek and with the publishing arm of the American Bar Association. I left that world and moved into the world of theater, creating more than a dozen one-woman shows like Late Nite Catechism. I do love performing, though! There's nothing quite as wonderful as hearing laughter.

2.       What was your favorite subject in 8th grade?

My favorite is a tough call. I loved and still love history. Also good at spelling, which is no surprise. Loved literature, and geography. Even math! But if I had to pick one, it would be history.

3.       What is your favorite subject to test your audience on?

Oooh. You know I do like asking religious questions! And history. And even civics. The simpler the question, the harder it seems for audience members to remember the answer. There's a particular math question that is so simple, but the joy is watching someone trying to figure it out.

4.       Were you the type to daydream about summer or did you pay attention in class?

I was taught by nuns! No daydreaming allowed!! If you were caught staring out the window, a ruler could appear out of nowhere! Ha!

5.       Whose idea was it to come up with a Catholic gameshow hosted by a nun?

It's my show, so I came up with the idea. I was home during those early months of the pandemic being bored. I found myself watching game shows, including old ones. And looking up game shows on YouTube to watch some of the historical ones. It was during this time that I figured, I could create a game show! And I did.
