The Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center Board of Trustees
In 1987, the Charles H. Taylor Memorial Library closed its doors following the construction of a new, main branch of the Hampton Public Library. After careful renovation, adaptation and adhering to the guidelines set forth in Mrs. Armstrong’s bequest, the former Taylor Memorial Library building re-opened in January 1989 with a new title: The Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center. Since that time, the historic structure has been a refuge for national and local artists alike, granting new and continuing opportunities to showcase various media for the community to enjoy!
