McCutcheon is a Wisconsin native who has a deep passion for music, folk music that is. In fact, many followers view him as a legend! His eclectic catalog of ballads, historical songs, children’s songs, love songs, topical satire, fiddle and hammer dulcimer instruments, and even symphonic works are among the broadest in American folk music. McCutcheon has produced over twenty albums of other artists, from traditional fiddlers to contemporary singer-songwriters to educational and documentary works. His fans also enjoy the attention grabbing storytelling style he’s acquired. McCutcheon has been compared to Will Rogers and Garrison Keillor.

Did you know? John McCutcheon’s passion for music inspired him to create books and instructional materials for aspiring artists to use and hone their craft.

Here is a sneak peak of John McCutcheon Live!
