Broadway Masterclass Instructors

This summer, we were fortunate to have the opportunity for three seasoned Broadway actors to visit us at The American Theatre for the SummerStage Musical Theatre Institute.

SummerStage is a 7-week pre-college portfolio development program designed to immerse artistically-minded students ages 8-17 in all things theatre. 

On June 24, James T. Lane assisted students with choreography.

On July 15, Rema Webb practiced vocal techniques with students.

On July 29, Josh Lamon directed students in acting exercises.

We're very excited for these lessons to come together for the Hampton Arts Education production of Dr. Dolittle, Jr. coming to The American Theatre on Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2 at 6pm. Tickets are on sale now.
