He is back to get the crowd going with the smoothest blues in town! Catch Eddie Shaw at The American Theater on Saturday, April 30 at 8:00pm!

youngeddie.123195826_large.jpgBlues artist Eddie Shaw was born on March 20, 1937 in his hometown of Benoit, Mississippi. Young Shaw grew up dreaming of one day becoming a fellow Chicago Bluesman like Left Hand Frank Craig, Johnny “Big Moose” Walker and other greats. One of his first gigs was with Muddy Waters in Itta Bena, Mississippi and it was then that Eddie began his successful career as blues artist. As time passed in Chicago, Shaw honed his skill at playing the horn and quickly adjusted to the demand of a soloist.  Even though Shaw says he was “…in and out of bands, up and down the highway…”, his passion for music  paved the way for his never ending legacy.

The crowd loves when Eddie Shaw comes to town! See for yourself.
