CALLING ACTORS, DIRECTORS, & WRITERS!

24-hour theatre is an exciting and thrilling theatrical event where playwrights, directors, and actors come together to create and stage a series of short plays within a single day. This high-energy creative marathon typically begins Friday night where writers gather to draw their casts and their play themes. Once the theme and casts have been given, writers craft a short 8 – 10 minute play. They then have a limited amount of time, typically around 8-12 hours, to write their scripts. Saturday morning the writers will return with their scripts to give to the actors and the director. The actors and director then have until 7PM to craft a show!
