Explore the world of orchestral masterpieces with the Hampton Roads Philharmonic! In this Symphonic Jewel box program, the orchestra performs a potpourri of famous beloved symphonic tunes: from the eternal Blue Danube Waltz to Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, Beethoven to Berlioz, and more. This performance at the historic American Theatre is a collection of timeless orchestral gems that will delight audiences of all ages, new and seasoned concertgoers alike.   

This concert hosts a special performance of Strauss’ Serenade for Winds led by guest conductor Dr. Mark Johnson. Our annual Golden Baton raffle will be held to choose a winner to guest conduct the orchestra in December.
