On March 7, 2026, at 2:30pm the Hampton Roads Philharmonic will take the stage to showcase the Grand Prize winner of our 11th Annual Young Artist Competition.  The winner will perform as a featured soloist with a movement of a concert or concert showpiece of their choice.  Each season this performance dazzles and inspires with the best of the young musical talent that our community has to offer.

For the first time, this performance will also highlight a student composer: Victoria King’s Nonna’s Song from her ballet in progress, The Little Match Girl.

Lalo’s lyrical and fiery Symphony in G Minor as well as Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture complete the program.
