Intermediate Watercolor Class with Jim Dees
Join this intermediate watercolor class designed for artists who have a foundational understanding of watercolor techniques and wish to enhance their skills. In this course, students delve deeper into the medium, exploring advanced techniques such as wet-on-wet, glazing and using Yupo, rice paper and collage. Students will be challenged to consider not only how to paint but also why we paint -- Emotional response to music or poetry? Statement on social injustice? Sheer wonder at nature or travel sights? Students will learn how to refine their techniques to most effectively convey their artistic intent.
