Painting and Color Theory Class with Jenn Clemons
Explore the foundations of painting through the study of color theory in this engaging, hands-on class. Participants will learn essential painting techniques while discovering how color influences composition, mood, balance, and visual storytelling.
Through guided exercises, students will explore color mixing, harmony, contrast, value and temperature while developing paint-handling skills and creating color charts. They will then apply these concepts to the design and completion of a small acrylic landscape painting.
Designed for beginners and developing artists alike, this class encourages creativity, observation, and personal expression while building confidence in both technical skills and artistic decision-making.
