In this fantastic new adaptation we are invited to go to Oz with Dorothy as audience members become a part of an experiential production, singing and dancing, and acting alongside professional actors. This play features images and theatricality of more than a century’s past using the sights and sounds from Baum’s books and the world he was living in. Journey to Oz was originated at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte where the target audience was 4-12-year-old students (grades K-6), and family audiences all ages.

A spirited folk musical introducing the people and events that led to the writing and signing of our Constitution. Pushcart Players’ production of A More Perfect Union is a celebration of American history, a lively introduction to live theatre, and an educational tool that connects young audiences to the stories, struggles, and spirit of the nation’s founders.

Returning for its second season, a showing of the 2015 production of The Nutcracker presented by the Community Alliance for the Performing Arts and the American Youth Ballet Company, performed at the Ferguson Center’s Diamonstein Hall.  This production has been edited to include live narration by the charismatic Mrs. Stahlbaum. This presentation of The Nutcracker is both educational and engaging for children and adults.

This engaging hour-long, one-person play blends comedy, improv, and audience interaction to tell one individual’s story of learning to cope with a parent’s suicidal depression.

At turns funny and poignant, Every Brilliant Thing is a celebration of what makes life beautiful. The show reminds us that hope can be found in the smallest things—and in each other.

Pay your bling and hear them sing! Jay and Will Grimmz, the hip-hop, fable, and story dance-pop sensations, are back with a whole new set of hip hop tales in GRIMMZ Fairy Tales II: Once Upon a Rhyme. 

Known for their sounds and stories shared through off-the-chart theatrical effects in a musical urban fairy tale with a with a rapsidazical spin. They’ll be performing some of their greatest hits including: Hansel and Gretel Lost in the Streets, Beauty and the Beast Drop the Beat, and their record-breaking Granny-winning song, Sleeping Beauty Wakes. All new songs, dances, and rhymes with life-lessons about making the world a better place.
